A 911 emergency call brought the River Falls Ambulance to a rental house at 122 ½ W. Cascade Ave. after 2 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 19. There, an unresponsive 23-year-old man was found. Efforts to revive him were unsuccessful.
The dead man was later identified as Tyler John Hole of Hudson, a 2007 graduate of Hudson High School.

An autopsy of the body has been performed. A toxicity finding is still a few weeks away.
Medical examiners in Pierce County and Ramsey County, Minn., are assisting the death investigation.
Police are still gathering evidence and questioning people from the Cascade Avenue address.
Tyler is the son of John and Sherri Hole of Hudson.
Funeral services for Hole are being handled by O’Connell Family Funeral Home of Hudson, 520 S. 11th St.
A memorial gathering for Hole will be from 4-7 p.m. Friday, Feb. 22, at the funeral home.
The funeral is Saturday noon at Bethel Highlands Lutheran Church, 504 Frontage Road, in Hudson. An 11 a.m. “Celebration of Tyler’s Life” will also be held Saturday at the church.
