WIAA girls hoops: Raiders’ season ends at Superior

Hudson’s girls’ basketball team scored a season-high 35 points in the fourth quarter but it wasn’t enough to erase a 46-18 halftime deficit and the Raiders fell to Superior, 80-69, in a WIAA regional semifinal Friday, March 1, in Superior.
The Raiders trailed 67-34 with one quarter remaining before outscoring Superior, 35-15, in the final frame but came up 11 points short of the Spartans.
Seniors Sarah Krier and Kindra Witthus led the Raiders with 17 points each in the season-ending loss.
