Hudson girl to ski at junior nationals

Camille Gannon of Hudson, a member of the Team Afton USSA ski club, has qualified to compete at the USSA Marriott Rocky/Central Junior National Championships later this month in Winter Park, Colo.
Gannon will be in Winter Park from March 9-15 to participate in the Junior Championships. Fifteen other Team Afton athletes also qualified for the Junior Championships.
“The Junior Championships are the pinnacle of our sport for these young athletes,” said Tony Olin, Team Afton head coach. “Camille had a tremendous performance at the qualifying event in Marquette, Michigan, and will represent Team Afton and our home resort of Afton Alps at this competition.”
Team Afton is a ski racing program based at Afton Alps in Afton, Minn. The club provides a comprehensive, high-quality program designed to help athletes of all abilities achieve their racing goals.
