Hudson prep wrestling has seven place winners at Bi-State Classic
Hudson High School's wrestling team had a solid weekend in the Bi-State Classic at the La Crosse Center.
LA CROSSE - Hudson High School's wrestling team had a solid weekend in the Bi-State Classic at the La Crosse Center.
The Raiders finished third in their division with 226 points. No. 1 ranked Wausau West won both the division and the overall meet team title with 321.
Hudson had seven individual place winners including two runner-ups. Dima Hawksford took second at 170 pounds and Derek Schindler was second at 182 after losing Saturday night's championship match in overtime to Mt. Horeb/Barneveld's Quinn Faust.
Other place winners for the Raiders included Matt Koski, 11th at 113 pounds; Nick Nelson, eighth at 120; Austin Koski, seventh at 145; Eliot Muto, sixth at 220 and Mathias Tobin, 11th at heavyweight.
