Werwie shot a two-over-par 75 Tuesday in her second and final round of stroke play and she tied for 14th overall at five-over-151.
Lizette Salas of Azusa California and Katie Kempter of Albuquerque New Mexico won the stroke play portion of the tournament, both at two-under-144.
Missing the cut were Eleva Vukmir of Wauwatosa at 165 and Molly Schemm of Fort Atkinson at 166.
Defending champion Mina Hargarae missed the cut at 161 and 10-year-old Allisen Corpuz, the youngest player ever in a USGA event, was eliminated with 169.
Match play begins this morning and runs through Saturday. Werwie opens against Grace Na of Oakland, Calif.
