Debra Bartoshevich of Waterford has been under fire since she told a reporter she’d vote for Republican John McCain over Barack Obama.
Now, the State Democratic Party’s administrative committee will vote on removing Bartoshevich.
But first, she’ll tell the panel her side of the story in a conference call on Friday.
The state Democrats petitioned the national party to remove Bartoshevich, but national officials said it was the state’s job.
Bartoshevich was hoping to nominate Hillary Clinton for president at the convention in Denver next month.
