That's why Wisconsin Gov. Jim Doyle is scheduled to be one of the speakers at next week's Democratic National Convention.
Doyle is one of several governors who will take the podium Tuesday.
He will join the others in focusing on Barack Obama's plans to improve the U.S. economy and strengthen the middle class.
Doyle says he will speak about creating new jobs, saying he's honored to be chosen.
U.S. Rep. Tammy Baldwin, D-Wis., of Madison, is also expected to speak at the convention that day.
