The state Labor Department reported an unemployment rate of 6.5 percent Friday, the highest it has been in 14 years.
One Madison economist predicts a continuation of the economic decline we're in right now.
Some are saying the unemployment rate could top 8 percent by the year 2010.
There seems to be no rebound in sight, those same experts warn.
October's numbers were actually worse than had been expected in the Badger State.
