Bucks stop the skid with victory in Chicago

The Milwaukee Bucks snapped a four-game losing streak with a 97-90 victory over the Chicago Bulls Wednesday night at the Bradley Center.

The Milwaukee Bucks snapped a four-game losing streak with a 97-90 victory over the Chicago Bulls Wednesday night at the Bradley Center.

Center Andrew Bogut made his first start since he bruised a knee last week. He had five points and four rebounds in almost 27 minutes. Guard Michael Redd scored 13 in his first start since a high ankle sprain a month ago.

Dan Gadzuric had a double-double with 11 points and 14 rebounds. Luke Ridnour had 10 assists and Charlie Villanueva led the Bucks in scoring with 23 off the bench, with 10 rebounds.

Charlie Bell sat out the game with a bad ankle.

Milwaukee went up by eight at the half, and Villanueva scored nine straight points to put the Bucks up by 14 midway through the fourth quarter.

Chicago got to within five near the end. Ben Gordon scored 22 for the Bulls, who’ve lost three of their last four.

The Bucks returned to .500 at home with a road-trip record of 4-4 and they’re 8-12 overall, and will host Charlotte Friday night.
