University of Wisconsin campuses are sharing more than $1 million for special projects designed to graduate more students.
Among other things, they’ll help high school students boost their college preparation, encourage partnerships between UW instructors and high school math teachers, increase achievement by minority students, and improve services for veterans.
The UW System awarded the funding based on competitive grant proposals.
Vice president Rebecca Martin said the winning projects really stood out, and they’ll help the campuses do a better job of meeting their student needs.
