UW-River Falls Falcon sports update
The UW-River Falls softball team opened WIAC play by splitting a pair of doubleheaders with UW-Eau Claire and UW-Stevens Point last week, and senior Becky Ponick set a UWRF school record in the javelin as the Falcon track and field teams opened the 2012 outdoor season.
