When I look back I don’t think I have had a particularly surprising life. On the contrary, I generally I feel like my aversion to risk-taking and fear of failure have resulted in a pretty pedestrian existence. I got a big surprise on Valentine’s Day that didn’t cost my husband Kevin a thing.
