Wisconsin senators voted 17 to 16 last night to adopt a bill that would clear the way for a proposed iron ore mine in far northern Wisconsin. State Republicans keep saying that job creation is No. 1, but at least one Democrat accuses the GOP of picking winners and losers in that pursuit.
