HASA competes in Northfield
The Hudson Area Swim Association sent eight athletes to a swim competition in Northfield, Minn., Jan. 20. This meet was a “Pre-C” meet, meaning, only swimmers with no times or not-quite-C times were eligible to swim.

Swim and dive team ready for BRC meet
Charlie Skinner and Willie Skinner each won one event and helped the Raiders’ 400 freestyle relay to a victory in the final event of the night but the Hudson boys’ swim and dive team came out on the short end of a 92-78 decision in a Big Rivers Conference dual meet at the middle school pool last Thursday, Jan. 26.

Last Thursday, the Raiders took the short trip down Hwy. 35 to the Wildcat Centre in River Falls to face the fourth-ranked and three time defending state champion, St. Croix Valley Fusion, a team they lost to in overtime three weeks earlier. The Raiders emerged this time with a 4-3 upset victory.

Boat safety courses offered
The Hudson Flotilla of the United State Coast Guard Auxiliary is offering a series of public boat safety courses.
HASA swims at U of M meet
The Hudson Area Swim Association (HASA) sent eight swimmers to the University Of Minnesota Jan. 14-15 to participate in a swim meet for swimmers with “A” times or higher.
