The Star-Observer news staff won four first-place awards in the Wisconsin Newspaper Association Better Newspaper Contest. The results were announced last Friday. Staff members include, from left, Randy Hanson, Margaret Ontl, Editor Doug Stohlberg, Meg Heaton and Jon Echternacht. Also honored was outdoor columnist Mike Yurk (not pictured).
