Hudson’s Lauren Hanson tags out River Falls’ Abby James at second base after James tried extending a single into a double in the third inning of a WIAA softball regional semifinal game last Tuesday at Grandview Park. James hit a ball off the fence in left-center field but Raider leftfielder Ellie Whitacre ran down the ball and rifled it to Hanson for the out. The Raiders lost however, 3-2. Photo by Bob Burrows
