On Sept. 5, preteen Nicholas Krampert received a grand prize for the 2012 “Own the Night” Summer Reading Program, a Barnes and Noble Nook. Eighty-six teens and preteens won prizes, many donated by local businesses, for reading 30 hours or more this summer.
