Cub Scout Peter Wyland, 7, visited the Hudson Star-Observer office Monday morning to learn about newspapers and complete a requirement for his Tiger Badge. Peter is a member of Tiger Cub Troop 148 that meets at YMCA Camp St. Croix. His parents are Laurie and Lee Wyland. Lee Wyland is a member of the Hudson City Council. Peter asked some pretty tough questions, including: How many words are in the Hudson Star-Observer each week. Editor Doug Stohlberg did some quick calculating and came up with 160,000 words for an answer.
