Kimberly Warneke, 46

Kimberly “Kimmie” F. Warneke, 46, an angel here on earth, was called home to heaven on Sunday, Jan. 11, 2009, at the River Falls Area Hospital, with her loving family by her side, following a hard-fought battle with cancer.

Kimberly “Kimmie” F. Warneke, 46, an angel here on earth, was called home to heaven on Sunday, Jan. 11, 2009, at the River Falls Area Hospital, with her loving family by her side, following a hard-fought battle with cancer.

She was born Nov. 10, 1962, in Minneapolis, the daughter of Cindy Sebeck. Kimberly married John Warneke, and to this union a daughter, Kaitlin was born.

Kimberly taught in the Hudson School District for many years.

She enjoyed crafting, scrapbooking and making jewelry.

Kimmie was so many things, a loving wife, mom, sister, daughter, teacher and friend to so many. She is now at peace and now in heaven teaching all the little angels.

She is survived by her husband, John, and daughter, Kaitlin; mom, Cindy, Oakdale, Minn.; sister, Missy (Chris) Nordin, Mahtomedi, Minn.; grandma, Frances Sebeck, Buffalo, Minn.; aunt, Lisa (Todd) Andrle, River Falls; uncles, Butch (Dawn) Sebeck, Zimmerman, Minn., George (Diane) Sebeck, Elk River, Minn., and John (Chris) Sebeck, Omaha, Neb.; parents-in-law, Darrell and Carol Warneke, Kenyon, Minn. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws and friends.

Her grandpa, Norman Sebeck Sr., preceded her in death.

Funeral services for Kimberly are at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 17, at Ezekiel Lutheran Church, River Falls. Rev. Bruce Williams will officiate.

Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery, River Falls.

Friends are invited from 4-8 p.m. on Friday at Ezekiel Lutheran Church, River Falls, and for one hour before the service at the church on Saturday.
