Michael A. “Mike” Breeden, 47, of Hudson died Sunday, May 3, at Regions Hospital in St. Paul following injuries he sustained from an automobile accident near Hammond. Mike was born on Nov. 26, 1961, in Shell Lake, Wis., the son of Allen Breeden and Judy Sekora.

Mike was born on Nov. 26, 1961, in Shell Lake, Wis., the son of Allen Breeden and Judy Sekora. He graduated from Rice Lake High School in 1980.
He was married to the former Paula Gilbertson at Moe Lutheran Church in Clear Lake. This union would be blessed with children Jeanna and Andy.
Mike was a self-employed carpenter and a devoted Minnesota Vikings fan. He enjoyed the outdoors, hunting, fishing, and a cold Coors Light. He valued time with his family on vacations and camping. He lived life fast with a mischievous twinkle in his eyes. He was fun loving and enjoyed picking on others.
He will be fondly remembered by his children, Jeanna and Andy, former wife, Paula, all of Hudson; mother, Judy (John) Storrs of Sarona; brothers, Robert Breeden (Renae) of Chetek and Bruce Breeden (Dianne) of Eau Claire; nieces and nephews, Crystal, Blake, Jake, Lily and Jack; as well as father, Allen (Pamela) Breeden of Cumberland and their extended family; along with the Gilbertson family and many other friends and relatives.
A Celebration of Life for Mike Breeden was Wednesday, May 6, from 4 until 8 p.m. at the O’Connell Family Funeral Home in Hudson.
Cremation services were coordinated by Countryside Crematory in Baldwin.
Burial was private.
Memorials are preferred.
