Carol Eileen Wallace, age 85, of Hudson, Wis., passed away on Feb. 15.

Carol Eileen Wallace, age 85, of Hudson, Wis., passed away on Feb. 15.

She was born on Dec. 24, 1926, to William and Lydia (Barchenger) Cook in Long Prairie, Minn., and was a graduate of Stillwater High School in 1945. Carol had a real love for spending time with her husband, Dr. James Wallace - chiropractor for over 40 years, at their home on Lake Wapogasset. She also enjoyed bowling, playing cards, going to the casino, and traveling to Mexico and the Caribbean.

Carol is survived by her husband of 63 years, Jim; children Carolann (Robert) Hochhalter of Hudson, Jerry (Sue) Wallace of Cushing, Wis., Jimmy Wallace of Stillwater, Minn., Dr. Terry Wallace of Stillwater, Robert (Melanie) Wallace of Wakefield, Va., and Toni (Jason) Barr of Clayton, Wis.; brothers Gerald and Warren (Angie) Cook; 15 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Lydia (Barchenger); sister, Betty Blevins; brother Billy Cook; and daughter Deborah Wallace.

Visitation for Carol will be held from 5-8 p.m. Friday, Feb. 17, at the O'Connell Family Funeral Home, 520 11th St. S, Hudson. Mass will be held the following morning at the Church of St. Charles Borromeo, 409 3rd St. N., Bayport, Minn., at 11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 18, with a visitation 1 hour prior at the church. Private family burial. Memorials preferred.
