Helen M. Christopher, 98 of Anaheim, Calif., passed away on March 13 at Anaheim Health Care Center where she had been a resident since August 2008.

Helen M. Christopher, 98 of Anaheim, Calif., passed away on March 13 at Anaheim Health Care Center where she had been a resident since August 2008.

She was born Sept. 14, 1913, in Town of Troy, St. Croix County, Wis., a daughter of Robert W. and Margaret C. (Cosgriff) Brunner. She graduated from Hudson High School in 1930.

On Sept. 29, 1938, she was married to Edwin E. Christopher whom she later divorced. They had one daughter, Joan C., born Nov. 15, 1940, and died April 5, 1945. Helen was a secretary most of her working life, having lived in St. Paul, Minn.; Chicago, Ill.; and lastly Orange County, Calif., for many years.

She was preceded in death by her former husband in 1976; her parents; and two sisters, Mrs. Wayne (Elizabeth) Arntson and Mrs. Donald (Dorothy) Wilcoxon.

She is survived by two sisters, Mrs. Leon (Florence) Simon of Hudson and Mrs. Ronald (Ann) Glesnes of Rockaway Twp., New Jersey.

A liturgy of Christian Burial was celebrated at 11:15 a.m. Saturday, May 26, at St. Patrick Catholic Church, Hudson, Wis., officiated by Rev. John Gerritts. Interment followed in St. Patrick's Cemetery.
