Louise J. "Babe" Senn, age 68, of Ettrick, Wis., formerly of La Crosse, Wis., passed away peacefully on Friday, April 27, at the Hudson Hospital.
Louise J. "Babe" Senn, age 68, of Ettrick, Wis., formerly of La Crosse, Wis., passed away peacefully on Friday, April 27, at the Hudson Hospital. A beloved wife, mother and grandmother.
She was born the daughter of William and Louise (Harder) Kabat on June 24, 1943, in La Crosse. On July 2, 1968, she married Matthew Richard Senn. Babe was an avid reader who enjoyed knitting and crocheting. She was very artistic, hard-working, and strong-willed. Spending time with family and her grandchildren was one of her favorite things to do. She will be remembered as humorous, spunky, and the glue that held her family together.
Babe will be missed by her loving husband, Matt "Dick" Senn of Ettrick; daughters, Shana (Jeff) Hanson, Kristi Senn, Nicole (Derek) Howe, all of Hudson, Wis.; grandchildren, Nicholas, Zachary, and Madeline Hanson, Myles and Cash Howe; siblings, Rita (Don) Hutzenbuehler, Patricia (Bob) Senn, Marlene (Rich) Bauer, William (Loretta) Kabat; and many other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Louise Kabat.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, May 1, at First Evangelical Lutheran Church, 400 West Ave., La Crosse, WI 54601. Visitation will also be Tuesday from 10-11 a.m. at the church. Private interment will take place at a later time. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred.
