Sheilah A. McClain (Dedrickson) nee Hughes, age 67, of Charles City, Iowa, died suddenly on May 14, in Mason City, Iowa.

Preceded in death by husbands, Donald D. Dedrickson and Jack F. McClain and sister Lesley E. Hughes.
Survived by sons, Sean M. Dedrickson (Leah), grandsons Kelly and Ian of Manitou Springs, Colo., and Christopher Dedrickson (Angela Finholt), grandchildren Samantha, Andrea and Tony, Lakeland, Minn.; sisters Barbara J. Williams (Paul) of Panama City Beach, Fla., Pamela W. Ernst (Thomas) of St. Paul, Minn., and Norma F. Stevenson (John) of Eagan, Minn.; and brother Almon John Hughes of Savage, Minn. Also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
Sheilah was a very avid quilter and active in the Charles City community in numerous volunteer activities. Her careers ranged from paralegal, small business owner, retail clerk, to over-the-road trucking.
The family wishes to express thanks to Mercy Hospital of Mason City for their efforts and support in the family's time of need.
Visitation will be at the Church of St. Francis of Assisi, Lake St. Croix Beach, Minn., at 10 a.m. Tuesday, May 22, followed by the service at 11 a.m. and a luncheon. Interment will be at St. Joseph's Catholic Cemetery, El Paso, Wis., immediately afterward.
