James Gary Stewart, age 72, of North Hudson, died Saturday, July 14, at his home.
James Gary Stewart, age 72, of North Hudson, died Saturday, July 14, at his home.
James was born on Jan. 25, 1940, in Hudson, Wis., the son of Marshall and Phyllis “Peg” (Miller) Stewart. He was raised in Hudson where he graduated from Hudson High School. He was united in marriage to Donna Mae King at the First Baptist Church in Hudson. He worked many years for 3M in the Twin Cities in their maintenance department. When he wasn't at work, he thoroughly enjoyed hunting, fishing, and gardening.
Jim will be survived by his wife, Donna; sons, Craig (Marci) Stewart of Hudson and Gary Stewart of Wascott, Wis.; granddaughter, Tiffany (Steve) Wolfe of Embarrass, Minn.; great-grandsons, Mason and Owen; and brother-in-law, Gerald Hoel.
He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Yvonne Hoel.
A Celebration of Life will be from 4-7 p.m. Thursday, July 19, at the O’Connell Family Funeral Home of Hudson. Interment services will be private. Memorials are preferred.
