Gerald Capistrant, 90

Gerald Joseph Capistrant, age 90, of Somerset, Wis., passed away on Aug. 19 at the Christian Community Home in Hudson, Wis.

Gerald was born on June 11, 1922, in Wilmar, Minn., to Mary E. Oelke. He proudly served his country for 20 years in the U.S. Army as a military police officer.

He is survived by his wife Helga; sons Bernard Capistrant and Steven (Carol) Capistrant; daughter, Mary Capistrant (Courtney Hart); grandsons, Gearald, Patric, and Jay; and daughter-in-law, Janet Capistrant. Preceded in death by wife Ursula and son Robert Capistrant.

Memorial services will be held in the Black Hills in South Dakota on Sept. 8.
