Mary Ann Mazzarese, age 46, of Stillwater, Minn., died suddenly on Nov. 22 at Regions Hospital in St. Paul, Minn.
Mary Ann Mazzarese, age 46, of Stillwater, Minn., died suddenly on Nov. 22 at Regions Hospital in St. Paul, Minn.
Mary Ann was born on June 5, 1966, to Lawrence and Lavonne (Thron) Emert in Stillwater. Growing up in Stillwater with her brother, Lawrence, and sister, Wendy, she attended grade school in Lakeland and graduated from Hudson High School. She worked for Fireside Hearth & Home in the Twin Cities for several years. Later, she would become self-employed as a personal concierge.
Mary Ann enjoyed traveling, camping, and the outdoors. She loved spending time in her pond in the back yard and polishing rocks that she found. Taking care of her grandfather was of great importance to her as well.
She is survived by her mother, Lavonne (stepfather, Evan Klein) Klein; father, Lawrence (Sara) Emert; brother, Lawrence Klein; sister, Wendy (Greg) Schrock; stepbrothers, Dean (Sarah) Klein and Norman Klein; grandfather Albert Thron; as well as her special aunts, uncles, and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her grandmother Carol; and daughter, Courtney.
A memorial service for Mary Ann was held at 11:30 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 29, at the O'Connell Family Funeral Home in Hudson, Wis. Inurnment will be at Lakeview Cemetery in Lakeland, Minn.
Services are entrusted to the O'Connell Funeral Home, Hudson, and Countryside Crematory of Baldwin.
