Ilene Dettmann, 94

Ilene Marie Dettmann (Palewicz), age 94, of Hudson, died on Jan. 17 at the Christian Community Home in Hudson.

Ilene was born to Paul and Helen (Milune) Palewicz on July 10, 1918, in Knapp, Wis. She was united in marriage to Alvin Dettmann on Jan. 24, 1941. This marriage would be blessed with two sons, Darryl and Allan. Ilene is survived by her sons, Darryl of Osage, Kan., and Allan (Diane) of Afton, Minn.; grandsons, Brett (Kim) and Dennis (Suzie); great-grandchildren, Ashley, Bryan, and Madelyn; sister Karen Grossaint of Hammond, Wis.; brother, Aaron of Glenwood City, Wis.; and many other relatives and friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Alvin; and sister Deloris.

Services for Ilene will be held privately. Memorials can be given in her name to the Christian Community Home of Hudson.
