This Hudson High School team, consisting of high school and middle school students, had to create a structure of wood, aluminum foil and glue. The structure had to weigh less than 15 grams. At the regional competition, the structure they brought was disqualified and they had twenty minutes to build an emergency structure. They did so successfully and now advance to the state competition. From left are Elijah Verdoorn, Sam Schommer and Dillon Rutten. Team members not pictured are Luther Miller and Grady Holmes. They are managed by Tim and Cheryl Rutten. Submitted photos
