This Hudson High School team, consisting of high school and middle school students, had to create a structure of wood, aluminum foil and glue. The structure had to weigh less than 15 grams. At the regional competition, the structure they brought was disqualified and they had twenty minutes to build an emergency structure.   • Hudson Middle School sixth-graders Elliot Wareham, Grace Kazak, Emily Schlepp, Kate Malanaphy and Ethan Kepulis portray characters in a Wild West “Whodunnit” Mystery. Team members not shown are Jack Johnson and Andy Richardson. The team placed first at the regional competition in Spooner, and is managed by Kathy Kepulis and Tom Wareham.

  • Hudson Middle School eighth-grade DI team accepts the first place trophy at the regional tournament awards ceremony. The team will perform their three-act skit circular story about a dysfunctional family of elements at the state competition this weekend in Stevens Point.
  • The smallest team at regionals, Sophie Tuchel and Ian Egeberg, accept their trophy at regionals and will be competing at state. They participated in an improvisational challenge, and won two special awards and placed second. They are from Hudson Middle School, and managed by Don Egeberg.
  • This North Hudson team will be competing at this weekend’s state competition. They are, from left, Colin Pruzek, Sam Smith, Patrick Kelley, Emma Close and Isabelle Hanson. The team is managed by Jane Kelley.
