PHOTO GALLERY: Veronica Ellingson in China

Hudson High School physics educator Veronica Ellingson earned the NEA Foundation’s Award for teaching excellence. She, along with 25 other educators from across the nation who also earned the award, spent ten days on an educational and cultural tour of China from June 22 to July 1. From touring schools to holding silk worms, the experience enhanced Ellingson’s perspective on China and Asia. The first visit for the group of teachers was a stop at a vocational school in Beijing. Ellingson visited the students, in particular Aniel, who is on Ellingson’s right. Submitted photos
