The Large Business of the Year Award (more than 20 employees) went to Laser Magic/AccuMark, Inc. and owner Ted Bauer.   • The Small Business of the Year Award (less than 20 employees) went to Christiansen Creative. Owner Tricia Christiansen was unable to attend the banquet, but her staff brought cardboard cutout of her to the meeting. At the presentation were, front left, Chamber President Kim Heinemann, Amy Stemper, Calvin Buchanan, Tricia’s cutout, Donna Brosious, Lisa Stratton, Kathryn Rich and Chamber Board Chair Rob Knefelkamp.
  • Hudson Area Chamber of Commerce President Kim Heinemann, left, and Chair of the Chamber Board of Directors Rob Knefelkamp, right, honored Bob and Carol Benish as the Community Volunteers of the Year.

  • Pete Keskey of Minuteman Press was named the Chamber Ambassador of the Year. At the presentation were, from left, Chamber President Kim Heinemann, Keskey, last year’s winner Traci Leffner and Chamber Board Chair Rob Knefelkamp. The Tiara is part of a tradition with the award.
  • The 2011 Chamber Board of Directors Rob Knefelkamp of San Pedro Cafe, left, received a gift (wine cooler) for his past year of service. Presenting the gift is Jim Wookey of WESTconsin Credit Union, right, his will be president-elect next year. The 2012 president is LouAnne Berg of J&L Steel and Electrical Services, but she was unable to attend the banquet.
