Area 4-H clubs compete in talent competition


Roberts Ribbon Reapers presented a mini-drama “The Crazy Story” at the Mini Talent Explosion. Members shown (not in order): McKenzie Budrow, Megan Feyereisen, RJ Feyereisen, Logan Knapton, Ryan Knapton, Grace Mansell, Kathryn Mohrhauser and Tyler Sippl. The club was selected for the District Talent Explosion.

The club was selected for the District Talent Explosion.
  • Callie Thielke, left, and Kaitlyn McKenzie were selected to present their demonstration on Rainbow Cupcakes at the Wisconsin State Fair. Riley Hammer (not shown) was also selected to present her demonstration on Pin Wheel Cookies at the Wisconsin State Fair. Others chosen for the District Talent Explosion but not pictured include Jackson and Connor Renn for a team demonstration titled “Is It for Real?” and Benjamin Halunen with his demonstration on violin. Callie, Kaitlyn, Riley, Jackson, Connor and Benjamin are all members of the Rolling Hills 4-H Club.
  • The Rolling Hills 4-H Club presented a mini-drama titled “Live: It’s Fairy Tale News” at the 4-H Mini Talent Explosion. Members that participated included: Dayna Ball, Anna DeWitt, Riley Hammer, Stormy Keller, Timber Keller, Brenna Klabon, Harly Lentz, Nicholas Lentz, and Mariana Tingblad. The club was selected to participate in the 4-H District Talent Explosion.
  • Trailblazers 4-H members selected to participate in the 4-H District Talent Explosion were Sloane MacSwain (pictured above) in Original Speeches, Intermediate Age Division. Adaire MacSwain was also selected in the Novice Age Division.
  • Tyler Sippl, from Roberts Ribbon Reapers, was selected to perform at the District Talent Explosion with his interpretive reading of “Cinderrumpelstiltskin.”
