  • The concrete for a classroom floor in the Wisconsin School is mixed by hand.
  • Quinn Erickson, a Hudson contractor, works on a classroom floor for the Wisconsin School. Erickson experienced some frustration with African construction methods, but greatly enjoyed his time in the Democratic Republic of Congo, Pastor Randy Simonson reported.
  • The floors and walls of three classrooms were completed during Harvestime Outreach Church’s recent work trip to the Wisconsin School on the outskirts of Kinshasa.
  • Children flock around Harvestime team members as they distribute cross necklaces. The team also brought over 300 pairs of flip flops, children’s clothing, toothbrushes and toothpaste, medical supplies, toys and art supplies donated by River Falls Mothers of Preschoolers and Roberts Dental.
  • Amy Parendo of Harvestime Outreach Church entertains neighborhood children with an art activity. Pastor Randy Simonson said Parendo was followed everywhere she went by a large group of children waiting to see what she would do next.
