Cars collided on eastbound I-94 at 10:30 a.m. Friday, July 27.

  • It appeared that as many as three cars were involved in the crash - the Volkswagon to the left, the sedan with front-end damage, center, and the overturned station wagon behind the ambulance.
  • Eastbound traffic was narrowed to one lane for about 45 minutes. This photo was taken from the Exit 4 overpass.
  • Tow truck operators remove an overturned station wagon from the freeway. The car was laying on its roof when emergency responders arrived.
  • The traffic back-up stretched from the accident scene just west of Exit 4 into the city of Hudson.
