Hudson High School choral director says music is chosen for quality
Andy Haase has been the director of Choral Activities at Hudson High School since 2001. He says that throughout his years teaching in Hudson he has had one guiding principle when it comes to the music he selects for performance: to expose his students to the highest level of musical literature, whether sacred or secular.

Little Mermaid auditions Nov. 27-29 in Hudson
Auditions for The Phipps Children’s Theater production of Disney’s “The Little Mermaid, Jr.,” based on the story by Hans Christian Andersen and the Disney film, will be held for area students in grades 10 through 12 on Tuesday and Thursday, Nov. 27 and 29, from 4 to 7 p.m. each day, at The Phipps Center for the Arts. Callbacks will be held on Saturday, Dec. 1, from 9 a.m. to noon.
