Special archery deer hunt is under way in the city

Overall, the statewide gun-deer harvest is up over 19 percent from 2011, and registration increased in all regions, the Wisconsin DNR reported late Monday. Restored tractor winner
Nicholas Wasieleski, 13, an eighth-grader at Hudson Middle School, was the youngest exhibitor of restored tractors at the Fall Festival on at the St. Joseph Town Hall. Nicholas, with the guidance of Tom Syverson of Johnny’s TV, completely restored this 1948 John Deere Model M tractor. The project took one and one-half years to complete.
