The Hudson City Council voted 4-2 Monday night to accept the Park Board’s recommendation for no increase in Grandview Park ball field fees for 2013. At its previous meeting, the council had asked Public Works and Parks Director Tom Zeuli to investigate the per-game cost of operating the park’s softball and baseball fields.

A group of expert bow hunters is again targeting the city of Hudson’s antlerless deer population. The hunt, conducted by a partnership of local hunters, began on Sept. 15 and will run through Jan. 31 of next year, coinciding with the regular Wisconsin bow season.

The city of Hudson will pay $3,500 to have a surveyor mark the boundary of a pedestrian pathway from Lakefront Park to St. Croix Street. Auth Consulting & Associates will do the work, which will involve retracing and re-staking boundaries established in a previous survey.
