In celebration of generations of Octagon House mothers and mothers in general, the Octagon House Museum is once again offering free tours for mothers accompanied by a paying child (of any age) on Mothers’ Day, Sunday, May 8, from 2 to 4:30 p.m.

Hot Air Affair is this weekend
The Hudson Hot Air Affair will take to the sky this weekend for the 24th annual hot air balloon rally and winter festival Feb. 1-3. The event is presented by WESTconsin Credit Union—Hudson and features commercial, regular and special-shaped hot air balloons coming to town for the weekend.

Victorian Christmas Night Dec. 7
The St. Croix County Historical Society will present its annual Victorian Christmas Night (formerly called Light-Up Night) Friday, Dec. 7, from 6 to 8 p.m. Participants may tour the Octagon House Museum and the Phipps Inn Bead and Breakfast. Admission is $7 for adults, $3 for students ages 13-19, and $2 for children 12 and under. Tickets must be purchased at the Octagon House on Victorian Christmas Night (No advance sales).
