Wineries are popping up all over western Wisconsin, and the town of Troy is no exception. Daniel Koepke presented plans to the Troy Town Board at the May 9 meeting to open Cracked Barrel Winery at 570 Coulee Trail.

The United Fund of Troy Township recently donated $906.50 to the Christian Food Cupboard of Hudson. Over $6,900 from 95 residents of the township will be distributed to 13 agencies serving the local area.

According to Wis. Stats. 5.84(1) Testing Equipment, the electronic voting equipment must be tested at a public meeting. The Edge II and Accuvote (if applicable) electronic voting systems which utilize automatic tabulating equipment will be tested on Tuesday, March 26, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. at the municipalities listed below, unless otherwise noted:

ABSENTEE BALLOT NOTICE FOR SPRING ELECTION 4/2/13
Any qualified elector who is unable or unwilling to appear at the polling place on Election Day may request to vote an absentee ballot. A qualified elector is any U.S. citizen, who will be 18 years of age or older on Election Day, who has resided in the ward or municipality where he or she wishes to vote for at least 28 consecutive days before the election. The elector must also be registered in order to receive an absentee ballot.
