Special archery deer hunt is under way in the city
A group of expert bow hunters is again targeting the city of Hudson’s antlerless deer population. The hunt, conducted by a partnership of local hunters, began on Sept. 15 and will run through Jan. 31 of next year, coinciding with the regular Wisconsin bow season.

Audrey Glasbrenner Edmunds: Starting over
The name Glasbrenner is a familiar one to many in Hudson. The late John Glasbrenner was a teacher. The Glasbrenner children, Fred, Wayne, Gary and Audrey all attended school here. Audrey was the 1977 Pepper Fest queen. But it is what happened to Audrey almost 20 years later that seems like something out of a movie and very far from her Hudson roots.
