River Falls won the team title with a total score of 131.725 and Tartan (Minn.) was second with 131 while Hudson placed third with 128.05. Hudson junior McKenna Daulton earned top-five finishes in three individual events and took fifth in the all-around with a total score of 33.15.

Candlelight hike at Afton park Feb. 2

Isaac Witty headlines fundraiser for SAFE
The Hudson SAFE Committee is presenting a comedy night at the Hudson High School auditorium on Saturday, Feb. 16, at 7 p.m. Isaac Witty, who has appeared on David Letterman and Comedy Central, will headline the event. Send a singing valentine
Five Barbershop quartets from the “Croix Chordsmen Chorus” and one from the Vallee de Croix, Sweet Adelines, will be on the road with “Singing Valentines,” on Feb. 14. For a donation to their Youth In Harmony fund of $40, their “Singing Valentine” Quartets will travel all over the eastern Minnesota and western Wisconsin area to serenade lucky recipients for Valentine’s day. They will sing two songs, present a rose, box of candy, a personalized card and provide a photo of the event, too.
