Candlelight hike at Afton park Feb. 2
Afton State Park will host a candle-lit hike from 6-9 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 2. The trail is two miles and suitable for hikers of all ages. Snowshoeing will be a possibility if there is enough snow. Following the hike park and trail visitors can warm up around a fire and roast marshmallows or enjoy a hot drink.

The Hudson SAFE Committee is presenting a comedy night at the Hudson High School auditorium on Saturday, Feb. 16, at 7 p.m. Isaac Witty, who has appeared on David Letterman and Comedy Central, will headline the event. Five Barbershop quartets from the “Croix Chordsmen Chorus” and one from the Vallee de Croix, Sweet Adelines, will be on the road with “Singing Valentines,” on Feb. 14. For a donation to their Youth In Harmony fund of $40, their “Singing Valentine” Quartets will travel all over the eastern Minnesota and western Wisconsin area to serenade lucky recipients for Valentine’s day.
