Letter: Perspective is one-sided
In February, I sent a copy of my resignation letter to each school board member at home. It was detailed. I heard nothing back. Nothing.

Letter: Says actions ‘stink’
There’s a great saying, “Money is truthful. If a man speaks of his honor, make him pay cash.” I think the same can be said of those elected who speak of their credibility. If they have to sell it to people, then it likely isn’t nearly worth what they think it is.

Letter: Desires answers from school board member
I have a few questions for school board member Mark Kaisersatt. 1) Why has the school board not acknowledged the fact that elementary school projections from just four years ago are woefully inaccurate?

Notes From the Dockside: The Bass Queen and the eagle
The Bass Queen and I had been out on Lake X a week earlier. It had been a blistering day with an unrelenting sun beating down and no wind. It was a tough day to be fishing. We had fished almost half of the eastern shore of the lake and had only one light strike.

Letter: Hudson School Board president gives facts
There’s been emerging criticism of Superintendent Mary Bowen- Eggebraaten. Criticism is “part of the territory” with any public position. However, I’m concerned that if inaccuracies are allowed to go unchecked, eventually, our district will suffer and the forward progress we’ve made to support higher levels of achievement for our students could be delayed or even terminated.

Letter: Incorrect information in Weese letter
It appears that the pen is indeed mightier than the sword. Mr. Curt Weese was so wounded by my plea to cease the malicious personal attacks, that he responded with, what else ... an all-out personal assault against me!

Letter: Appreciates ‘watchdogs’
If it weren’t for certain regular contributors to “Letters to the Editor,” the pulse of the people, a large area of western Wisconsin would be clueless to local liberalism run amuck.

Letter: Overriding state’s rights
After this last week’s horribly misguided decision by the Supreme Court to overrule Arizona’s SB1080 it’s obvious the majority of justices have either given up on the Constitution or are actively conspiring with the “emperor” to get rid of it entirely.

Letter: Keep big picture in mind
The decision to purchase St. Croix Meadows occurred not because it was jammed past an unsuspecting public but because voters felt the facts showed this was the most cost effective school site option because of its existing infrastructure of sewer, water, access, etc. It’s now the job of the district administration and school board to make the voters’ will a reality.

Letter: Concerned with mold
It has now come out that the St. Croix Meadows property has a severe mold contamination. Over the past few years water has poured in a hole in the roof causing structural damage and leaving behind mold. This contamination by law must be disclosed to any potential buyers.

Letter: Critical of Kaisersatt
In his letter of last week school board member Mark Kaisersatt seemed frustrated with taxpayers asking for accountability. I would respectfully suggest that if Mr. Kaisersatt spent half as much time diligently carrying out his duties as a school board member as he does penning letters to the editor, that the district would not be in its current state of disarray.
