The council approved a plan from the Public Works Committee to create five areas along the dike where groups of up to 10 dinghies will be stored. The of dinghies kept on the dike must be about 55 inches wide, no longer than 10 feet, and white or cream in color.

Over 6,000 people have signed an online petition demanding that slain Wauwatosa police officer Jennifer Sebena be added to a national memorial for fallen officers. Almost 50 Wisconsin school districts are getting less in revenues than they did 10 years ago and two-thirds of those school systems are in Republican Senate districts. That could explain why a number of GOP senators have come out against their governor’s plan to freeze state school aid in the next budget.

North Hudson man says his van and RV aren't junk
In November 2011, the village of North Hudson issued two citations to Randy J. Krongard, claiming he had two junk vehicles in plain sight on his property at 712 Pine St. North. The village considered the vehicles -- a 1992 Ford van and a 1986 Winnebago RV -- junk because their Minnesota registration had expired.
