Contrary to what others have stated the Planning Commission and the City Council got it “right” in regards to rezoning the Dog Track. Granted that 60 percent of the Hudson city voters voted for purchasing the dog track property. However, those votes only accounted for 26 percent of all registered voters within the city.

Raider soccer wins, loses and draws
After a 5-1 victory over Eau Claire North at home last Tuesday, the Raider boys’ soccer team found the going a little tougher later in the week on the other side of the river. Hudson was outshot 23-6 in a 3-0 loss at Stillwater last Thursday and played better Saturday in Apple Valley but came away with a 0-0 tie.
