Al Hein tourney raises $40,000
The 31st annual Al Hein Memorial Golf Tournament, sponsored by the Hudson Hospital Foundation, raised nearly $40,000 in support of the foundation. The event continues the legacy of Al and Laurie Hein who generously gave to the hospital and community.

Letter: Concerned with mold
It has now come out that the St. Croix Meadows property has a severe mold contamination. Over the past few years water has poured in a hole in the roof causing structural damage and leaving behind mold. This contamination by law must be disclosed to any potential buyers.

At a special meeting May 29, the Hudson Board of Education voted to amend its purchase agreement with the owners of St. Croix Meadows dog track, extending the last possible closing date on the property to Dec. 31, 2012.
