Contrary to what others have stated the Planning Commission and the City Council got it “right” in regards to rezoning the Dog Track. Granted that 60 percent of the Hudson city voters voted for purchasing the dog track property. However, those votes only accounted for 26 percent of all registered voters within the city.

Holland is 'baffled' by council’s action in light of referendum
Profoundly disappointed is how Hudson Board of Education President Tom Holland described himself following the decision by the Hudson City Council not to rezone St. Croix Meadows for use as a school. Walker labor law overturned in county court; impact unclear
