Gymnastics school completes competition for the season
The Hudson School of Gymnastics girl’s compulsory teams completed the second half of the competitive season. Last weekend the team ended the season with the Twin Cities Classic Invitational in Chaska, Minn.

Three gymnasts go to state this weekend
Three members of the Hudson gymnastics team qualified for this Friday’s (March 5) WIAA State Individual Tournament but the Raiders came up one spot short of qualifying for Saturday’s team competition at last Saturday’s sectional meet in Rice Lake.

Amanda Baker took fifth in the all-around and Paige Kazak finished sixth to lead the Raider gymnastics team to a third place finish at the Big Rivers Conference Tournament Friday in River Falls.

The Raider gymnastics team closed out the regular season in style with a 135.225 to 118.925 victory over Chippewa Falls in a Big Rivers Conference dual meet at Chippewa Falls Thursday, Feb. 11.

Amanda Baker had the Raiders’ highest score in all four individual events and took third in the all-around but Hudson dropped a Big River Conference gymnastics dual meet to Eau Claire North/Memorial 138.63 to 131.35 last Tuesday in Eau Claire.

The Raider gymnastics’ team overcame illness and injury to post its second highest score of the season and take first place at the seven-team Hudson Invitational Saturday at Willow River Elementary School.
