Hudson twin soccer stars Mackenzie and Nick Lund took advantage of the Feb. 3 early signing day to sign national letters of intent to continue their education and soccer careers at the NCAA Division 1 level.

Former Raider Johnson shines for Northland
Bryanna Johnson, a 2008 graduate of Hudson High School, just completed her sophomore season of women’s soccer at Northland College in Ashland and was named to the All-Conference Honorable Mention Team for the second year in a row.

Raider soccer shot down by Memorial
The Raider soccer team was dealt a blow before Saturday’s sectional final game against Eau Claire Memorial when senior midfielder Mackenzie Lund was forced to miss the game with the flu.

The Raider boys soccer team outscored its opponents 17-1 on its way to a regional championship last week to move to within two wins of earning a berth in the WIAA State Soccer Tournament Oct. 29-31 in Milwaukee.

Hudson’s boys soccer team wrapped up its regular season with a dominant 5-1 win over Chippewa Falls last Tuesday, Oct. 6 to finish with a record of 12-3-3 overall, then defeated Menomonie 12-0 yesterday (Oct. 13) to advance to the next round of regional playoffs against Wausau West.
