Hudson Chrysler LLC helped to raise $1,540 in funding for Houlton Elementary with Chrysler brand’s Drive for the Kids program. The fundraising event was held on Nov. 10 in conjunction with the Fall Festival event.
The magic of the live theater jumped off the stage at Houlton Elementary School on March 9. Prairie Fire Theatre brought its week long artist-in-residence program to the school, with an adaptation of the classic “Sleeping Beauty.”

A local company has won the contract to construct a picnic pavilion with restrooms in Weitkamp Park. The Hudson City Council on July 6 accepted the bid from Braden Construction of Houlton to build the facility for $288,302.
