The Hudson Area Lacrosse Association’s varsity club team overcame a five-point deficit to defeat Tartan, 9-8, in overtime last Wednesday before pulling away in the second half for a 10-6 victory over Shakopee on Friday.
After improving to 2-0 with a 19-1 rout of Northfield, Minn., last Monday, April 23, the Hudson Area Lacrosse Association’s varsity boys’ team dropped a 12-4 decision to Delano, Minn., Friday, April 27, for its first loss of the season.
Following a successful inaugural season in the Minnesota Boys Scholastic Lacrosse Association (MBSLA), several members of the Hudson Area Lacrosse Association’s varsity level club team have been honored with postseason awards.
After trailing for most of the game, the Hudson Area Lacrosse Association’s varsity club team battled back in the fourth quarter to tie St. Louis Park 7-7 at the end of regulation Monday, June 6, at Orono.

The Hudson Area Lacrosse Association will host a “Try Lacrosse” event for boys in 3rd-8th grades who reside in River Falls, Ellsworth, New Richmond, Somerset, Baldwin and Hudson, on Thursday, April 8, from 6-8 p.m. at the Hudson Sports & Civic Center - Gornick Arena, 1820 Hanley Road in Hudson.
The Hudson Area Lacrosse program is holding its registration and open house from 6-8 p.m. Thursday, March 19, at the Hudson Middle School gym for players in grades 2-10. Youth from surrounding communities are welcome to participate.
